Film Set Therapy

Film and television sets are emotionally demanding places at the best of times.

When the material involves trauma, grief, abuse, or survival — and when the people being asked to open up are left to carry that alone once the cameras stop — the cost is real, and it falls on individuals.

I offer confidential therapy for cast, crew, and contributors on film and documentary productions. I am not part of the production team. I don't report to the director or the producer. My only job is to care for the people doing the work.

I come to this from both sides. As a documentary filmmaker, I sat with people as they revisited some of the hardest experiences of their lives. I know what it costs to tell a story honestly, and what it costs to witness one. That creative and clinical fluency is what I bring to set.

What this looks like:

  • On-set and on-call individual sessions: confidential support for cast, crew, and contributors throughout production

  • Pre-production planning: identifying where vulnerable material may surface and putting care in place before filming begins

  • Aftercare: individual support once the cameras are off and the adrenaline drops

  • Script and casting consultation: a psychological lens on material involving trauma, intimacy, or vulnerable subjects

I also offer custom designed packages for the needs of each production.

Standard session: 50 mins | $200
